THE ODYSSEY

Greetings and welcome to my Odyssey! �I say it is an Odyssey because it has indeed been a long and trying journey for me to come to the Wiccan Path. �I was raised Roman Catholic (yeah, I know..lucky me!) and it took a long time to actually realize that there were OTHER GODS out there that I�could believe in. Thank all the Gods and Goddesses for Mr. De Peter, my Senior English teacher who opened my eyes with the Greek Myths and Tragedies. It still took me a long time to come to t his path but he�pointed me in the right direction!

A�little bit about me, I�suppose. My Magickal name is Onya, though some of you know me�better as Beth or�RedWita from my AOL days. � I�consider myself to be Green Witch/Hedge Witch/Magickal Herbalist/Kitchen Witch as herbs and healing are my main focuses of work on my journey through this life time. I have a lot�to heal from and I�enjoying helping other people to heal�as well. I am 32 years old, the mother of two daughters (one a teenager! Yikes!) and I have been married for�the last 13�years. I live in Southeastern Connecticut.��My passions in life are my herbs, gardening, my friends, my Coven, writing!!!!! and�adoptees rights. �If any of those subjects interest you please do not hesitate to e-mail on any or all of those subjects.

A�little bit about my writing, I do�horror/romance fiction novels mainly but�lately (in case you couldn't tell already!) the HIGHLANDER bug has bitten me and I have lived with the character of "Duncan MacLeod" rolling around inside my head for the last four�years or so. Now, admittedly, the�gentleman who portrays the character..his name is Adrian Paul...has got to be one of the hottest things on two legs ever! �And I suppose it is�both character and �man who pique my interests so to speak. �I hope�you will stop�by the Library and check out some of my musings. �Mainly I'm�a stay at home mom who has LOTS of hobbies, other than the ones listed above I also help to run�the PaganFolkes Cyber Community, do�web pages for myself and others and I make�custom jewelry items. �For information on my jewelry please check out Onya's Oddities on�this page.
